Heroes, Homes and History.
The Lowry Foundation was established in 1998 as a nonprofit organization with a mission of enhancing the quality of life and public spaces within Lowry. The Foundation provides a vital level of support to the vision of Lowry’s past, present and future as a community of pride and livability.
Heroes: Creation and support of ongoing programs that share the passion of military veterans, the contributions of our residents and the involvement of businesses.
Homes: Support the beautification of the neighborhood through the ownership and maintenance of public art, the Reading Garden, transit art (bus stops) and other neighborhood amenities. The Foundation also plays a key role in the creation and support of community events.
History: Preserves and promotes Lowry’s unique history through the ownership and maintenance of the historic Eisenhower Chapel and programs on the military history of Lowry Air Force Base.
