Keep Lowry Strong Relief Fund
The Lowry Foundation Accepting Donations and Applications for Mini Relief Grants
The Lowry Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the #KeepLowryStong COVID-19 Relief Fund. The #KeepLowryStrong fund will help alleviate hardship to Lowry residents, employees of Lowry businesses, and the families of students attending school in Lowry during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to The Lowry Redevelopment Authority($5K), The Safeway Foundation($2,500) and District 5 Denver City Council Office($1K) who have generously provided lead matching gifts.
Anyone from the Lowry community may apply for a mini-grant, to be reviewed by a committee of Lowry residents and the Foundation board. The relief mini-grant program may help with paying a utility bill, rent assistance, or for food, as an example. The online application form is available at LowryFoundation.org. Paper applications are available through the mail by calling The Lowry Foundation at 303-344-0481. The application may be submitted online or mailed to The Lowry Foundation, 293 Roslyn Street, Denver, CO 80230. The mini-grants will be issued as long as funds are available. Applications will be reviewed weekly and are subject to available funds.
In order to provide the greatest number of mini-grants, the Lowry Foundation is seeking donations from people and businesses to help fund the #KeepLowryStrong program to support members of the greater Lowry community impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Donations will go a long way in helping those who have been impacted by reduced or lost wages as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Donations can be made on the Lowry Foundation website or by mailing a check to the Lowry Foundation.
